Our practice offers you and your family a health care team of six pediatricians and one physician assistant to provide your child with high quality health care seven days a week.
We know how important your child's good health and development are to you. Your child's pediatric health care team plays an important role by providing preventive health care, helping you and your family through times of illness, and answering questions about common childhood problems. We strive to offer high quality medical care to our patients and to assist you in any way regarding the health needs of your family.
Concussion Clinic Info: In order to better manage a concussion sustained by a young athlete, Wasatch Pediatrics has acquired a software tool called ImPACT (Immediate Post Concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing). If an athlete is believed to have suffered a head injury, ImPACT is used to help determine the severity of the injury and when the injury has fully healed. This test is available for patients 10 years of age and older. The baseline test, given before contact sport practice or competition, is a "pre-season" physical of the brain. If a concussion is suspected, the athlete will again take the test and your child's doctor will evaluate the two tests to compare differences and help evaluate the injury.
You can schedule Baseline or Post-Injury Concussion Testing through your regular pediatrician.
