Doctors at Wasatch Pediatrics at St. Mark's
 | Dr. Broadbent joined the Willow Creek at St. Marks office in June 2000. Prior to coming to Wasatch, Ken worked as Night Time Pediatrics Medical Director. He founded a hospitalist program in Maryland prior to that. He attended Medical School at Duke University. His pediatric residency was completed at the Harriet Lane Clinic at Johns Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
Ken has been married to his wife Jan, who is an allergist, for more than 20 years. They have 3 children and most of their free time these days is spent at horse shows, often out of state. Ken enjoys art, photography, horses, camping, tennis, and traveling.
He is quickly becoming a favorite with patients at the St Marks office. |

 | Dr. De La O was born and raised in SLC, Utah. She received her Bachelors degree at the University of Portland and returned to Salt Lake to attend the University of Utah school of Medicine. After her residency at Primary Childrens she served an additional year as chief resident. Angela enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, son and their dog. When not in clinic she enjoys telemark skiing, mountain biking, camping and hiking. Our office is excited to have her join our family. |

 | Renee is a nationally certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her bachelor's degree from Boise State University. After working as a registered nurse in neonatal intensive care, she returned to academia to earn her master's degree from Gonzaga University in 1999. Prior to joining us, she practiced for 5 years in Boise at a pediatric office. Her other past experience includes 5 years in rural health clinics in both Idaho and North Carolina. Personally, Renee loves being a wife and mom. She enjoys caring for your children from infants to teenagers. |

 | Growing up in the Pacific Northwest as a daughter of a physician influenced Dr. Ormsby to become a doctor herself. She received her bachelor's degree at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine and then went to the University of St. Andrews in Scotland before attending medical school at the University of Vermont. She came to Utah to do her residency and loved it here. She likes the accessibility of the diverse outdoor activities in the area. She enjoys hiking, biking, cross-country and downhill skiing, camping, and sightseeing throughout Utah. She joined Willow Creek Pediatrics in 1992. For quiet time she loves to knit, watch movies, and play guitar. She and her husband, Bob, have two beautiful daughters, Callie and Isabel. She practices medicine at the St. Marks office where she shares a practice with Dr. Cynthia Owens. |

 | An extensive education including Reed College, BYU study abroad program in Vienna, Austria, University of Utah, Temple University School of Medicine, Yale University School of Medicine, University of Maryland Medical System, and Oregon Health Sciences University gives Dr. Owens a diverse background. She practiced medicine for two years in Maryland and has been with Willow Creek Pediatrics since 1997. She works at the St. Marks office and job shares with Dr. Sally Ormsby. Her husband is an attorney; they have three active sons and a daughter. Dr. Owens is an accomplished pianist and avid horsewoman. Her quiet, caring manner helps to put patients at ease, and she relates well to moms' concerns because she is a mother herself. |

 | Dr. Jenifer Sandvig was born in Portland, Oregon. She attended the University of Santa Clara and the University of Oregon and received a Bachelor Degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She then attended the Oregon Health Sciences University and received her medical degree. Jenifer completed her residency at the University of Utah. She joined Wasatch Pediatrics at the St. Marks office in October 2004. |

 | Lou has been a Physician Assistant (PA) since 1992. He has been with Wasatch Pediatrics since 1995. He has additional training in kidney diseases in children, served 8 years as a test writer for PA National Boards, and has served as a clinical instructor for several physician and physician assistant programs. Prior to being a PA, Lou was a Registered Nurse at Primary Children's Medical Center from 1979-1991. He was, for a time, a tax auditor for the state of New Jersey until 1975.
His wife Julie is a Nurse Practitioner in the Emergency Dept. at Primary Children's Medical Center and is a Forensic Nurse. They enjoy traveling by bicycle and backpacking together. They have two adult sons, Ben and Carlo.
Lou is active in the community having served as a soccer coach and referee (6 years), continues to serve as an assistant Scout Master for the past 10 years with a backpacking program, and has been a member of the Canyon Rim Community Council for the past 14 years. He is most noted in the bicycling community as a daily bike commuter, writer and bike transportation advisor. His bike travels include riding across the United States in 1975. Lou also grows a lot of vegetables in his 1000 square foot garden. |

 | Dr. Jolma grew up in southern Arizona and graduated from Pomona College in Claremont, California. She returned to Tucson to attend medical school and residency after working for the National Park Service in Grand Teton National Park. She relocated to Salt Lake City in 2006 when her husband, also a pediatrician, took an academic position at the University of Utah. She has since worked for the University of Utah and the Utah State Department of Health in general pediatrics with a developmental focus. She looks forward to again becoming involved in primary care at Wasatch Pediatrics. She enjoys hiking, running, gardening, being outdoors and spending time with her husband, son, and 2 dogs. |
