Background

Alyssa Lee is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a specialty focus in child and adolescent psychiatry. She earned her undergraduate degree from Westminster College and graduate degree from New York University.

Alyssa has been practicing in pediatric psychiatry since 2013. Her extensive experience includes working with children adolescents psychiatrically in residential, state hospital, outpatient, and emergency settings. Most recently before joining Wasatch Pediatrics in 2018, she spent five years in Brooklyn, New York where she gained valuable pediatric psychiatric experience working in some of New York’s most prestigious hospitals, including New York Presbyterian, Columbia University Medical Center, and Bellevue Hospital.

Alyssa currently works at our Salt Lake office and provides psychotherapy to children and adolescents in addition to medication management. She is passionate about working in an integrative setting and helping to promote the assimilation of mental health and pediatric care. Alyssa uses a holistic person- centered approach. She has a strong affinity for mindfulness and meditation practices, often implementing them into the treatment of her patients.

When she is not busy practicing, Alyssa loves to go on adventures with her two boys, travel with her husband, and is an avid CrossFit competitor.
