Background

Dr. Sara Johnson grew up in Duluth, Minnesota, on the shore of Lake Superior.  She completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology and Spanish at the University of North Dakota.  After graduating, she had various experiences working with adults with developmental disabilities, survivors of traumatic brain injuries, and doing research in genetic epidemiology that inspired her interest in human welfare and medical science.  As a result, she returned to school and obtained both her medical degree & Master in Public Health degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine.

Dr. Johnson completed her residency training at Primary Children’s Hospital.  She is board-certified in Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  She has been practicing at our Draper office since 2019.

Dr. Johnson is married and has two children.  She loves to travel, trail run, and attend concerts and theater.  The highlight of her free time is enjoying her hobbies with her family and friends.
