Dr. Scarlett Olejnik was born and raised in Detroit in a first-generation American household, where she was greatly influenced by her family’s Polish culture and traditions. She ventured to Europe to study medicine and earned her medical degree from the Medical University of Lodz in Poland. She completed her pediatrics residency at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit and then relocated to Salt Lake City to join our Willow Creek office in 2024.

Dr. Olejnik has special interests in newborn care, breastfeeding, metabolic health, and obesity. She enjoys pediatrics because of how resilient and remarkable children are and enjoys supporting her patients through all their stages of life.

In her spare time, Dr. Olejnik enjoys spending time outdoors with her fiancé and their white German Shepard. Some of her other hobbies include running, snowboarding, paddle boarding, cooking, and traveling to new countries.
