Dr. Jenifer Sandvig grew up in Portland, Oregon. She attended the University of Santa Clara and the University of Oregon, where she received a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. She went on to complete her medical training at Oregon Health Sciences University and pediatrics residency at the University of Utah. After falling in love with Utah, she decided to stay instead of returning to Oregon and has remained here since 1993. In 2004, Dr. Sandvig joined our Salt Lake practice. She loves caring for her patients, guiding them through their rough times, and helping them heal. Her active personality and fun sense of humor help support her patients along their journey.

Dr. Sandvig has been fortunate to travel the world. Some of her excursions have allowed her to utilize her medical skills to help people in developing countries. Her experiences meeting people from around the world and seeing how they live have given her a unique perspective on life. At home, along with her son, Dr. Sandvig enjoys skiing, hiking, biking, camping, and anything that allows them to enjoy the outdoors.
