Dr. Galina Hornyik spent her college years at Northwestern University near Chicago.  She moved back West to attend medical school in her home state of Oregon at Oregon Health and Sciences University in Portland.  She completed her pediatrics residency at Primary Children’s Hospital and couldn’t help but fall in love with Utah and its skiing.  Dr. Hornyik has been here ever since and joined our Draper office in 1999.

Dr. Hornyik’s favorite part of being a pediatrician is watching her patients grow up to be healthy and happy.  Her own happy outlook and cheerful attitude make her a favorite among her patients and their families.

Dr. Hornyik was born in Germany and moved to the U.S. at the age of 4.  Her Austrian father was passionate about the outdoors and instilled a love for the outdoors in her and her siblings.  Dr. Hornyik’s favorite activities now include skiing, running, and biking, and her husband joins her for most of her adventures.
