Dr. Alison Groebs grew up in Salt Lake City.  She earned both her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Utah before moving to the Midwest for her pediatrics residency at Ohio State University.  After completing residency, she continued to work with Columbus Children’s Hospital and affiliated community clinics.  Her eagerness to return west and reunite with the mountains led her back to Utah.  In 2003, she joined our Grow Up Great location after working at local pediatric urgent cares.

Dr. Groebs developed an initial interest in childhood development due to the influence of her mother who taught early childhood education.  Her husband is also a physician and specializes in orthopedics.  When she is not working or playing with her 3 daughters, you’ll find her skiing, gardening, waterskiing, or biking.
