"Childhood is the perfect time to establish healthy lifestyle habits that will last well into adulthood!"

Background

Allison Robbins is a registered dietitian with over 20 years of experience who works with kids and families to establish healthy nutrition habits that are achievable and enjoyable. She completed both her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Dietetic Internship at Brigham Young University. Prior to joining Wasatch Pediatrics in 2025, Allison was a clinical dietitian at the University of Utah Hospital and various skilled nursing facilities in the Salt Lake Valley. Her experiences gave her a unique perspective on the long-term effect of chronic diseases related to lifestyle behaviors. This instilled a passion in her to help children establish healthy habits early on to serve them well into adulthood.

Allison loves helping kids and families find new ways to make nutrition and lifestyle changes. She strives to find options that not only help optimize a child’s growth and development but will have a positive impact on their whole family. Allison has a special interest in weight management and chronic disease prevention, but she is qualified to provide nutrition education on a wide range of nutrition and dietary needs. Allison works primarily at our Southpoint location and is available to all Wasatch Pediatrics patients by referral.

When not at work, Allison enjoys going on a daily run, listening to audiobooks, traveling, and spending time with her husband and four boys.
