"There is always light. If only we’re brave enough to see it. If only we’re brave enough to be it." -Amanda Gorman

Background

Dana is a certified social worker and received her Master of Social Work from the University of Utah. Prior to joining the Summit office in 2023, she had experience in substance use treatment, and therapeutic communities, as well as teaching coping skills to teens and young adults in residential and outpatient settings.

Currently, Dana provides in-office therapy services, brief interventions, assessments, and community referrals. She is passionate about teaching mental wellness skills to children and helping normalize mental health as a part of health in their lives. Her approach involves helping children and families to identify goals for growth, working in collaboration towards them, and developing resiliency and confidence.

Dana is originally from the East Coast but was drawn to Utah for its mountains. She loves being outdoors and spending time hiking, running, and skiing. She also enjoys cooking, reading, and trying new things.
