"I strive to provide a comfortable and fun environment for parents and children where they feel understood and respected in all of their healthcare needs."

Background

Emily Daines joined our Farmington office in 2021 after spending five years working as a pediatric nurse practitioner in the Bountiful area. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Dixie State University, a master’s degree in nursing from Westminster College, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Weber State University.

In addition to her experience as a nurse practitioner, Emily spent more than 15 years working at LDS Hospital and Primary Children’s Hospital, where she provided pediatric care in the Emergency Department, PICU, NICU, Rapid Treatment Unit, Immunocompromised Units, and Medical and Surgical Units. While at Primary Children’s, Emily developed a passion for helping children and working with families to facilitate care and manage stressful situations.

We are thrilled Emily is a part of our care team with her wealth of experience and extensive training. As a primary care provider, Emily enjoys supporting parents through the difficult and rewarding aspects of raising children. She also centers providing care around creating a friendly and open atmosphere. She aims to be a trusted adult for her patients, particularly for her teen patients as they navigate the ups and downs of their teenager years.

Emily grew up in Northern Utah and has lived in the Farmington area for over a decade. When not caring for patients, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband and their four daughters. She especially loves warm weather, the mountains and ocean, and traveling.
