Ginny Hiatt is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and has devoted over three decades to the care and well-being of children and their families in Utah.  Her professional journey began with receiving her nursing degree from the University of Utah and balancing her responsibilities as a labor and delivery nurse with teaching childbirth classes.  Ginny went on to complete her nurse practitioner degree at Westminster College then joined Sunnyside Pediatrics near downtown Salt Lake where she remained a steadfast presence for over 26 years until the clinic’s closure.  In 2025, Ginny joined our Salt Lake office, bringing her joy and expertise to the team.

Ginny’s approach to pediatrics centers on engaging kids in their healthcare by being approachable, open, and above all, a good listener.  She enjoys caring for patients with varied backgrounds and medical conditions and seeing her patients grow and thrive.  Ginny values the opportunity to both teach and learn from families.  Her goal is to provide families with the most accurate and up-to-date information to help children stay as healthy and happy as possible.

When not working, Ginny can be found playing in the great outdoors – mainly in the mountains near her home or in the red rock country of Capitol Reef.  She enjoys hiking, skiing, gardening, and spending time with her family – especially her two highly intelligent and beautiful grandchildren and her bossy little Corgi.
