Dr. Laura Brown received her medical degree with highest honors from Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and completed her pediatrics residency at the University of Utah/Primary Children’s Hospital.  She joined our Salt Lake location in 2022 after spending 10 years in academics at the University of Utah, where she most recently served as an Associate Professor of Pediatrics.

Dr. Brown has extensive experience in both preventative healthcare and in the care of children with special healthcare needs, including those with behavioral and mental health concerns.  Additionally, as a Certified Lactation Educator Counselor (CLEC) and ardent adorer of babies, she has a special interest in supporting breastfeeding mother-infant dyads.

During her free time, Dr. Brown enjoys jogging while listening to cheesy audiobooks of the historical romance genre, playing the piano, dancing (ballet), and baking delicious but never Pinterest-worthy treats.  She also loves adventuring with her husband and young children while hiking, skiing, and camping.
