"Nurturing individual growth and family connection by honoring your child’s unique story and uncovering their natural strengths."

Background

Lauren Fratto is certified social worker and received both her Bachelor and Master of Social Work degrees from the University of Utah. Before transitioning to social work, she spent over a decade as a registered dental hygienist, which helped shape her perspective about health challenges and how different components of health contribute to overall holistic well-being. She was drawn to social work by the capacity for broader change and individual healing.

Lauren joined our behavioral health team at our Southpoint office in 2024. She works with families and kids and currently provides in-office therapy services, brief interventions, assessments, and community referrals. Her approach involves serving as a guide to help kids and teens find what matters most to live aligned with their values and reconnect with their strengths. She enjoys collaborating with families and draws from evidence based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), and Motivational Interviewing. The most rewarding aspect to Lauren is walking alongside young people as they develop a deeper connection with themselves and the people they love most.

Outside of the clinic, you’ll find Lauren outdoors or hiking her favorite trails. She also loves music and art, spending time with her family and dog, and practicing new skills whenever she gets the chance.
