Monique Hanks is a Utah native and completed her undergraduate education at the University of Utah. Afterwards, she spent time on the East Coast working as a registered nurse in hematology/oncology in New Jersey as well as in maternal/newborn health in Maryland. While Monique always loved working with children and families, her experiences working in the hospital with new babies and ill children inspired her to become a nurse practitioner. She earned her Master’s degree from Vanderbilt University and joined our Cottonwood practice in 2021.

Monique loves to watch children grow up and considers it an honor to be a trusted resource for families in her practice. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, traveling, and playing tennis.
