Dr. Evers was born and raised in Oklahoma.  At an early age, he was inspired by his own pediatrician to one day become a pediatrician himself.  He began this journey when he earned his undergraduate from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN and obtained his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma.  He completed his pediatric residency training at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY where he also met his wife.  They moved to Philadelphia, PA for his wife to complete her fellowship training then ultimately to Salt Lake City in 2016.

We welcomed Dr. Evers to our Cottonwood practice in 2022.  He is an enthusiastic pediatrician who enjoys taking care of children of all ages.  He appreciates that every patient and family experience is a unique one and enjoys providing guidance to both his patients and their family members.  He also works to create a partnership with his patients and their caregivers in order to empower them to take an active role in the child’s health and well-being.

Dr. Evers enjoys exploring all the wildlife Utah has to offer with his wife and daughters.  On days off, they can often be found camping, hiking, snowshoeing, and bird watching.  Dr. Evers also enjoys experiencing music in a number of ways, whether it be listening to old vinyl records at home, attending live concerts at Red Butte Gardens, or simply playing his guitar or piano as a relaxing pastime.
